Been Quite Awhile

Sorry I haven’t been on here lately, I always tend to get ahead of myself and clearly, it has been done here. I am still crocheting and crafting and have learned some cool new stuff lately, so hopefully I will start sharing again soon. I started working in March and it’s been kicking my butt and when I’m at home I am rather lazy. Or working on projects and not taking pictures, but I will…since I still have all of my little friends with me! Although my bulbasaur has a likely buyer. Well, just wanted to update you on a few of my going-ons and I reblogged those cute little octopi I hope you will enjoy. Well for tonight, it is a goodnight!

Nibble nibble, hop hop

Love love love this bunny! Too late for Easter tho): oh well next year!

The Green Dragonfly

Crochet bunny free patternIf you are a regular follower you will immediately notice that these bunnies are very closely related to some particularly cute owls made recently. You see a distant aunt on their mother’s side fell in love with a completely unsuitable (if you are an owl) rabbit… the rest, so they say, is history. Rabbits, as you well know, breed like, well, rabbits and before we knew it there were not one, but four new members to the family. If you are interested in meeting the owl family please be sure to check out the New Zealand branch here and the original English pattern here – over at Bunny Mummy no less!!!

Right, on with the tutorial.  If you would like to make some bunnies of your own for Easter you will need:

  • Various scraps of yarn and a corresponding hook – I used 8ply and a 4mm hook.

My Ugly Bunny

So I made this bunny awhile back and even though he is called Ugly Bunny I think he is just adorable! I gave him to one of my bestie’s 1 and a half year old because I thought he would like it. It shows that he loves it! I think it was the only toy in his room! With the ear half bitten off by baby teeth! Yarnivore that kid! Lol! Well just though I’d put up a little post I was so happy that my toys were actually a safe thing his mother would allow in his mouth cuz he puts everything there now!20130321-111459.jpg

Lil Bunny

This little bunny I made is perfect for Easter! It’s so cute! With the fabric as the paws and insides of the ears it looks just so adorable! These are being sold in my storenvy shop at I went ahead and gave this little cutie to my niece for her 3rd birthday and she loved it! lol. For like a whole two seconds until the next present came along. But it’s something nice to grow up with. photo AFB83F59-FEC3-416D-AA71-F8DD1D116AA4-20244-000015EB6BD71C70_zpsef4c358b.jpg UPDATE!: Apparently my niece’s mother doesn’t allow her to play with the bunny even though she tries, Tayy(her mom, my cousin) has it on a shelf and for every year and Christmas wants to add a new crochet animal to the collection. YAY! I’m so proud!

My Storenvy(:

So in the middle of the e-commerce trades and sales platforms is this beautiful site named Storenvy. It’s much like Etsy, but I think more user friendly and I think it’s more pleasing to the eye. That’s just me. Anyway, this is where I opened my online store and hope that everyone who comes across this site visits it. These baby chicks are the first products I’ve posted in my store, so I hope you like them and visit my site and find something you like!
